We start every session with an optional consultation to talk through your goals.
During the shoot, we guide you through poses and expressions to get results that actually represent you well, and we want to hear about anything, physical or otherwise, that would help you feel more comfortable.
One note from experience: we don’t recommend bringing a friend along for support. It tends to add pressure rather than ease it, even with someone you trust completely.

Retouching addresses skin imperfections, adjusts exposure, and cleans up color, all in service of a natural look that still has that signature WASIO faces polish.
Standard retouching includes skin tonality, softening the area around the eyes, teeth whitening, fly away hair, white hair removal, and color accuracy.
Advanced techniques like face reshaping or body contouring exist, but we use them sparingly on business headshots. Natural is the goal, not artificial.
Background removal and replacement is also available, including AI-generated virtual backgrounds.

On the budget end, AI-generated headshots run around $29, and beginner or amateur photographers often charge $25–$250. But why would you want an AI headshot of yourself (presenting yourself from the beginning with an unreal you) or trust an amateur photography with your professional image.
We’d encourage some caution with the cheapest options. A headshot represents your professional brand, and the difference shows: in lighting, retouching, and how comfortable you look in front of the camera.
